travel north america united states arizona grand canyon north rim bright angel lodge
ARCHITECT: GILBERT STANLEY UNDERWOOD (1927-28)

In 2005, we stayed in one of the cabins at Grand Canyon Lodge at Bright Angel Point on the North Rim.
The main structure is built out of native Kaibab limestone and timber and has a distinct beauty of its own.
It seems perfectly fitted to it's environment.
We dined in the huge beautiful dining room and, on both our trips, joined the crowds on the terrace for the sunset over the canyon.
All in all, a memorable stay...
